💳 Schedulicity has a handful of payment options!

Once set up with the Unlimited Plan and connected to Schedulicity Pay, you can require client to enter a card, pay a deposit, or prepay when booking online.

What are the Payment options?

Hold with a Credit Card:

  • Requires clients to enter a credit card at the time of booking online

  • Card isn't charged at time of booking and client enters a card to hold the booking

  • Business can offer to charge the card on file after a booking, or in the event of a

Deposit:

  • Business sets deposit amount

  • Client is charged the deposit amount at the time of booking online (deposit isn't automatic if a business books for a client)

  • Funds are sent to the bank account for the business, 2 business days after the client books and pays online

Pre-payment:

  • Client is charged the full amount at the time of booking online (prepay isn't automatic if a business books for a client)

  • Funds are sent to the bank account for the business, 2 business days after the client books and pays online

Clients can't cancel appointments that they've pre-paid for online. They will get a message prompting them to call you to cancel.

❗If a business cancels an appointment with prepay or deposit, refunds are NOT automatic. To walk through a refund click here.

❗Clients can reschedule appointment online and funds move with the appointment.

Choose payment options for a Service

Customize your payment setting for each Service:

  1. From Settings -> select Services

  2. Select the Service from your list -> click edit in the upper right

  3. Under Payment Requirements for Clients Booking Online -> check the box for the payment option -> Save

To set up payment requirements for other Services, walk through these steps again 🚶.


Choose payment options for Classes

  1. From Settings -> select Classes

  2. Select the Class from your list -> click edit

  3. Under Payment Requirements for Clients Booking Online, check the box next to the payment option you'd like

  4. ❗Notice the toggle -> allows client to bypass payment preferences with a package

  5. Save your changes -> repeat for other classes as necessary

  1. From Settings -> select Workshops

  2. Select the Workshop from your list -> click edit

  3. Under Payment Requirements for Clients Booking Online, check the box next to the payment option you'd like

  4. ❗Notice the toggle -> allows client to bypass payment preferences with a package

  5. Save your changes -> repeat for other Workshops as necessary
