What are all the ways clients can pay in Schedulicity?

πŸ’³ Schedulicity makes it easy for clients to book appointments, and we believe it should be just as easy for clients to pay! Here are all of the ways you can accept payments from your clients:

  • If your client has their phone handy, send them a text, or have them scan the QR Code, to tip and pay you on their own device.

If your client has already added their preferred payment method, you'll have the option to charge the card on file right from the checkout.

Key in a client's payment method

Type in a client's card information for checkout -> enter name, card number, expiration, cvc, and email.

If a client pays with cash, check, or another option like Venmo (other) -> choose that option via tender types. This will record the payment in Schedulicity, zero out the balance due, and keep your reporting on point.

❗If a client pays with a separate external method, choose the "Other" option as the tender type.

If you'd like clients to prepay, pay a deposit, or hold an appointment with a card, when booking online -> you can setup each each service, class, or workshop you offer with a specific payment preference. Once the payment preference is set, clients will need to pay or enter a card at the time of booking.


Head to payment policies to set custom gratuity for your Schedulicity account. Default gratuity is set to 18%, 20% and 25%.
