All finished with your appointment and ready to check out a happy client? Awesome! Checkout is easy, especially with our Pay by Text option, Norm. π° To check out a client, you'll want to be sure you have the Unlimited Plan enabled in order to have the checkout option.
Depending on your business, there are several ways that you may be checking out your clients, so let's take a peek at some of the different scenarios that might come up for ya π

How to charge a client for an appointment
Click on the appointment to open the Details page and select the Checkout button at the top right (the grocery cart icon)
Review the Pricing and use the three vertical dots menu to the right of the service to edit the price if necessary
You can add additional items to charge if you like (like a product), and you can add a discount too!
Or you can also add a discount to a specific line item by clicking the three vertical dots along the right
Once you've reviewed your ticket items, click on the "Continue" button
On the next page, select the Payment Method: Pay by Text, Scan QR, Credit Card, Card on file (if applicable), Cash, Check, Gift Card, or Other.
After choosing your payment type, you'll see the option to add a tip and the optional signature
After clicking the Pay button, you'll then have the option to print or email the receipt to the client
How to process a payment for a class/workshop
Open the Class Roster and click "Checkout" to the right of the client's name
Review the Pricing and go back to the appointment Details to adjust, if needed
You can add additional items to charge if you like (like a product), and you can add a discount too!

How to collect a partial payment for an appointment or enrollment
Click on the appointment to open the Details page and select the checkout button at the top right
By the service, your client wishes to pay for on the ticket, click on the three vertical dots and select "Accept Payment"
Review the price by "Payment" and adjust as needed
You can add additional items to charge if you like (like a product), and you can add a discount too!

How to collect a split payment for an appointment or enrollment
Open the appointment details for the appointment you'd like to charge, or the class roster for the class you'd like to charge, and open checkout
Beside the service or enrollment, click the three vertical dots and select '"Accept Payment"
Enter the amount you'd like to collect for the first tender type and click the "Continue" button
Select the tender type
Add a gratuity if you'd like, and click "Complete" or "Pay"
Re-open checkout, confirm the amount to charge for the remaining balance, and click "Continue"
Select the second tender type
Add a gratuity if you'd like, and click "Complete" or "Pay"
How to reprint or resend a receipt
Need to send a client their receipt again? You can get there using these steps:
From the full site (not the iOS app) navigate to the client's appointment you'd like to resend a receipt for
Click on the shopping cart icon in the upper right corner to open Checkout
At the top of the checkout details, you'll see the payment that was made for the appointment (if the appointment was paid for with more than one transaction, for example prepaying a deposit, and then settling the balance, you'll see each of those payments called out separately). Click on the payment you'd like to resend a receipt for.
Use the "Email Receipt" or "Print Receipt" buttons to get another copy of that receipt out to your client! π
