Depending on your business, there are several ways that you may be checking out your clients, so let's take a peek at some of the different scenarios that might come up for ya 👀

How to charge a client for an appointment

  1. Click on the appointment to open the Details page and select the Checkout button at the top right (the grocery cart icon)

  2. Review the Pricing and use the three vertical dots menu to the right of the service to edit the price if necessary

  3. You can add additional items to charge if you like (like a product), and you can add a discount too!

  4. Or you can also add a discount to a specific line item by clicking the three vertical dots along the right

  5. Once you've reviewed your ticket items, click on the "Continue" button

  6. On the next page, select the Payment Method: Norm Self-Checkout, Credit Card, Cash, Check, Gift Card, or Other. If you wish to use a card on file, you can select "Credit Card" and then select "Charge A Card Ending in..."

  7. After choosing your payment type, you'll see the option to add a tip and the optional signature

  8. After clicking the Pay button, you'll then have the option to print or email the receipt to the client

How to process a payment for a class/workshop

  1. Open the Class Roster and click "Checkout" to the right of the client's name

  2. Review the Pricing and go back to the appointment Details to adjust, if needed

  3. You can add additional items to charge if you like (like a product), and you can add a discount too!

  4. Or you can also add a discount to a specific line item by clicking the three vertical dots along the right

  5. Once you've reviewed your ticket items, click on the "Continue" button

  1. Click on the appointment to open the Details page and select the checkout button at the top right

  2. By the service, your client wishes to pay for on the ticket, click on the three vertical dots and select "Accept Payment"

  3. Review the price by "Payment" and adjust as needed

  4. You can add additional items to charge if you like (like a product), and you can add a discount too!

  5. Once you've reviewed your ticket items, click on the "Continue" button

  6. On the next page, select the Payment Method: Norm Self-Checkout, Credit Card, Cash, Check, Gift Card, or Other. If you wish to use a card on file, you can select "Credit Card" and then select "Charge A Card Ending in..."

How to collect a split payment for an appointment or enrollment

  1. Open the appointment details for the appointment you'd like to charge, or the class roster for the class you'd like to charge, and open checkout

  2. Beside the service or enrollment, click the three vertical dots and select '"Accept Payment"

  3. Enter the amount you'd like to collect for the first tender type and click the "Continue" button

  4. Select the tender type

  5. Add a gratuity if you'd like, and click "Complete" or "Pay"

  6. Re-open checkout, confirm the amount to charge for the remaining balance, and click "Continue"

  7. Select the second tender type

  8. Add a gratuity if you'd like, and click "Complete" or "Pay"
