Use personal time to block off your calendar for meetings, a personal appointment, daily lunch breaks, or working split shifts!
To add a one-time personal time block:
Open your Appointment Calendar and click directly into the date/time
Click on the personal time button at the top right of the page
Specify your duration and an optional description
If you'd like to choose a color for the personal time block on the calendar, select one, and click add
To add a recurring personal time block:
Open your Appointment Calendar and click directly into the date/time
Click on the personal time button at the top right of the page
Specify your duration and an optional description
You'll notice the option to make this break recurring. You can set this to occur once a week, every other week, every 5th week, whatever you need!
If you'd like to choose a color for the personal time block on the calendar, select one, and click add.
π‘ Pro tip: If you work split shifts with a period midday where you can't take appointments, use recurring personal time to block those hours off. Set your work schedule to open at the start of your day and close at the end of your day. Then, add a block of recurring personal time to schedule the blackout period in the middle of your day.
π A few additional things to note about personal time:
You'll still have the ability to book appointments during these blocked times, but clients won't.
And just as a heads up: if you currently share your Schedulicity calendar to another calendar app such as Google or Outlook, your personal time blocks will not be shared.
