Rest assured, clients don't need to create an account to check out your business listing, your offerings, or the times you're available. Like most websites these days, though, they do need a login to manage their appointments online with Schedulicity. With that said, having a login is great for both you and the client—here are a few reasons why:

  1. First, when a new client books online, you'll notice a client profile for them in your Schedulicity client list. Their name, email, and phone number will display so you know exactly who is coming to the appointment and how to reach them if anything comes up.
  2. We've found that logins prevent fraudulent appointments as well. It's an extra level of protection from a "troll" messing with your calendar and booking false appointments.
  3. Lastly, most clients think it's awesome that they're able to manage and view all their appointments. When clients log into their account they can view all of their history, any upcoming appointments, as well as cancel and re-book appointments with you.
