Like most websites these days, clients will need to create an account with Schedulicity in order to book appointments with any Schedulicity business. That said, clients don't need to create an account in order to search for your business and check out your business listing, your offerings, or the times you're available 👍
Having a login is great for both you and the client—here are a few reasons why:
When a new client books online, you'll notice a client profile for them in your Schedulicity client list. Their name, email, and phone number will display so you know exactly who is coming to the appointment and how to reach them if anything comes up.
We've found that logins prevent fraudulent appointments as well. It's an extra level of protection against someone messing with your calendar and booking false appointments (ain't nobody got time for that!)
Clients think it's awesome that they're able to manage and view all their appointments! When clients log into their account they can view all of their history, any upcoming appointments, as well as cancel and re-book appointments with you, and add their appointment to their personal calendar with the click of a button 📆
