Display or hide business from Marketplace search results
You have the option to choose if you want to appear in the Marketplace search results or not. This is a great way to get your name out there for new clients in your area and allow your existing clients to find you when they search on Schedulicity.com.
Here's how:
Click on the three lines in the top left and choose My Business
Click the Display In Search Results button where it says your business does not display in the Marketplace search results
If you want to hide your listing:
Click on the three lines in the top left and choose My Business
Select Remove From Search Results
Opt to Hide Listing
Enable Instagram to show pictures on your listing
To share some Instagram love on your Schedulicity business listing, follow these steps:
Click on the three lines in the top left and choose My Business
Under Instagram, select Connect to Instagram
Click Enable Instagram
Log into your Business Instagram account and you're all set!
β As there isn't an option to filter the photos that display using hashtags, we recommend connecting a business Instagram account, rather than a personal account, as the 25 most recent photos are going to display.
π If your personal and business Instagram accounts are linked and you want to ensure your business account is the one linked, rather than logging into Instagram with your email address, use the Instagram handle or username for your business account β¨
Those pictures will show up on your business listing like this:
Change industry or add keywords
To increase the chances that a potential new client will come across your business when searching from Schedulicity, add some keywords to your listing! You can also change your industry to reflect what sort of business you're in:
Click on the three lines in the top left and choose My Business
Hit Edit next to Hours
Under Industry, use the drop-down menu to select your industry
Add in any keywords you wish
Click Done!
π‘ Pro tip: Add keywords of possible misspellings or alternative spellings of your business name. That way, clients who aren't sure of the way your business name is spelled have a better chance of finding you! π
How do I see what my clients are seeing?
To see your Schedulicity business listing from your clients' point of view, here's how:
Click on the three lines in the top left and choose My Business
Click Preview Listing in the top right
A new window will open in your browser displaying your Schedulicity business listing from the client's side!
Change business time zone
Click on the three lines in the top left and choose My Business
Hit Edit next to Hours
Select your time zone from the drop-down menu
Click Done!
β Updating your time zone won't affect any appointments already on your calendar! For example, if Jane booked an appointment at 2:00pm, it will still be on your calendar for 2:00pm. She'll just get a notification saying 2:00pm EDT instead of 2:00pm MDT. That notification will always show your time zone, as well, just in case you have some lovely clients who are booking from outside your time zone.
