Service Taxes
Adding taxes to services
To create a tax and add it to a service:
Click on the three lines in the top left, and choose Settings
Click on the "Services" tile
Select the service you wish to add a tax to
Under "Taxes for This Service," click on the "Change" button
Click on the "add new" button
Enter in a name and percentage for your tax, and select the services you wish to apply this tax to
Save your changes!
Removing a service tax
If you ever need to remove a tax from a service or multiple services, you can follow these steps instead:
Click on the three lines in the top left, and choose Settings
Click on the "Services" tile
Select the service you wish to remove a tax from
Under "Taxes for This Service," click on the "Change" button
Select the tax from the list
Click "Delete Tax"
Confirm, and you're all set!
Editing a service tax
And if you need to edit your tax in question, here's how you can do that:
Click on the three lines in the top left, and choose Settings
Click on the "Services" tile
Select a service from your list
Under "Taxes for This Service," click, "Manage Taxes"
Click on the tax you wish to edit
Adjust the tax rate or name
Save your changes!
Product Taxes
Adding Taxes for Products
You can add a new tax by accessing the Taxes menu through Services. Feel free to follow these steps to add a tax to your product:
Click on the three lines in the top left, and choose Settings
Click on the "Services" tile
Select a service from your list
Under "Taxes for This Service," click on, "Manage Taxes"
Click on the "add new" button
Enter in a name and percentage for your tax, and then make sure to add it to products instead of services
Save your changes!
Keep in mind 👉 Product taxes will apply across all products on your list.
From here on out, these taxes will automatically be applied whenever you or your clients book that particular service or include that product on a ticket. Yahoo! 🎉
