How do I reconnect to the built-in payment processor?

How to reconnect account after change of ownership or returning to payment?

If you needed to switch from another processor and then back again, you can no problem.  All you'll want to do is follow these steps:

  1. From the Payment section, select the "Built-in Payment Processor" tab

  2. From there, you can click on the "Reconnect Now" button

Once you click on the Reconnect Now button, a pop-up appears that will list the information about your business that is connected. If all of the information is correct, you can simply click on the checkmark to confirm and you'll be able to reconnect automatically! If you are not, however, we have a few additional paths for you:

  • Have you simply changed some simple info, but haven't changed hands for your business? Not to worry – you'll just wanna reach out to Clearent directly so they can help you update that info and reconnect!

  • Have you changed hands as a business? In this case, we'll need you to reapply since you're an entirely new business. Fortunately, the app is super quick to complete!

Either way, you'll be all set and ready to rock with payment again – yahoo! 🎉
