After unwrapping that lovely mobile card reader, you'll want to make sure to plug in your reader in with its included cord first. This will ensure it stays "awake" during the following steps!

Pairing card reader to Apple devices

Once you do that, here is how you can pair your Apple device! Before you get started, make sure you have the iOS app downloaded. Then:

  1. Once the app is all downloaded, open up the app and log in!
  2. Tap on the three lines in the upper left-hand corner
  3. Select "Manage Card Reader"
  4. Tap "Pair Device" to continue
  5. On the next page, enter the last five digits of your serial number. You'll want to make sure to write this down for when you need to re-pair in the future!
  6. Wait up to 45 seconds to pair up – it'll only take this long the first time 😉
  7. Wait until you see "Device is now active" and you'll be ready to go!
