Bounced client emails

Problem email addresses are email addresses that we have had a hard time delivering to. These could have failed to send for a couple of reasons.

  1. First, you will want to check if the email is spelled correctly or if the email is indeed the correct email address.

  2. Second, the email may have bounced—potentially due to a full inbox, settings that the email owner has in place, firewall protections, undeliverable mail, or maybe even blocked mail—which lands out of our control.

How to manage and correct bad email addresses

To help manage these “bad” emails we have a way to view the list within the Email Marketing message you sent, using our Problem Email Addresses report. This report will show the email addresses that have bounced in the past, and as a result, we have stopped attempting to send emails to these addresses until the client’s email is edited or verified by you.

Here's how to view that report and verify or correct those email addresses:

  1. Click the three lines in the upper left and navigate to the Reports tab

  2. Select the Problem Email Addresses report

  3. Each email address on this report will have "edit" or "verify" next to it. If the email address is correct, click "verify"

  4. If the email isn't correct, select "edit"—this will bring you to the client's profile where you can change or edit that email. Save when you're done!

Once the email has been either verified or edited, emails will start sending to them again! 🚀
